This product is compatible with various dirt bike models, including S DS80, JR80, RM50, RM60, TM MX80, PW80, and TTR90E.
To perform the installation, please prepare the following tools:
Preparation: Make sure your work area is clean and organized. Wear safety goggles and gloves.
Remove Front Wheel: Loosen the axle nut with the socket wrench and remove the front wheel from the bike.
Disconnect Front Forks: Unscrew the bolts holding the front forks using the socket wrench and slide them out of the triple clamps.
Drain Old Oil: Place the oil catch pan beneath the forks. Remove the top cap and allow the old oil to drain completely.
Remove Old Seals: Carefully use the fork seal driver or a flathead screwdriver (be cautious to avoid damaging the fork) to remove the old damper oil and dust seals.
Clean Forks: Use cleaning rags to remove any debris, dust, or old grease from the fork tube and surrounding areas.
Lubricate New Seals: Apply a small amount of grease to the new oil and dust seals to facilitate a smooth installation.
Install New Seals: Carefully place the new seals in their designated grooves using the fork seal driver. Ensure they are seated evenly.
Reassemble Forks: Pour the recommended type and amount of new oil into the forks. Replace the top cap and secure it according to torque specifications.
Reattach Forks: Slide the front forks back into the triple clamps and tighten the bolts securely.
Reinstall Front Wheel: Reattach the front wheel to the axle and tighten the axle nut.
Final Check: Ensure everything is properly fastened and perform a visual inspection of your work.
