Product Installation Instructions for Universal Oil Filter (Part: 0800-011300-0004)

Compatibility:
This oil filter is compatible with CF Moto ATV and UTV models 450, 550, 625, 800, 1000 Cforce, Zforce, X8, U8, and Z8.

Tools Required:
Before starting the installation process, please ensure you have the following tools ready:

• Socket wrench or adjustable wrench
• Oil filter wrench (for easier removal of the old filter)
  -Clean rag or shop towel
• Oil catch pan (to collect any spilled oil)
• New oil (if necessary for an oil change)
• Gloves (to keep your hands clean)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Park your ATV or UTV on a flat surface and turn off the engine.
   • Allow the engine to cool down completely before proceeding.

2. Gather Tools:

   • Collect all the tools listed above and have them within reach.

3. Remove Old Oil Filter:

   • Place the oil catch pan under the oil filter to catch any dripping oil.
   • Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old oil filter.
   • Dispose of the old filter and any collected oil properly.

4. Prepare New Oil Filter:

   • Before installing the new oil filter, apply a thin layer of new oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the filter. This helps create a better seal.

5. Install the New Oil Filter:

   • Screw the new oil filter into place by hand, turning it clockwise until it is snug.
   • Avoid overtightening, as this can damage the filter.

6. Check Oil Level:

   • If you are changing the oil as well, refill the engine with new oil using the appropriate type and amount specified in your vehicle’s manual.

7. Start the Engine:

   • Turn on the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
   • Check for any oil leaks around the new oil filter.

8. Dispose of Waste Properly:

   • Make sure to dispose of the old oil and filter according to local regulations.
