Tools Required:

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation: Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is cool. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues.

2. Remove the Old Covers:

   • Use the socket set to remove the bolts securing the crankcase covers.
   • Carefully detach the covers and place them aside.

3. Clean Surfaces:

   • Use the gasket scraper to remove the old gasket material from the crankcase and cylinder surfaces.
   • Wipe the area with clean rags to ensure there is no debris.

4. Install the New Gaskets:

   • Place the new gaskets onto the cleaned surfaces, aligning them correctly with the bolt holes.

5. Attach the New Crankcase Covers:

   • Position the crankcase covers back onto the engine, making sure they align with the gaskets and bolt holes.
   • Hand-tighten the bolts initially, then use the socket set to secure them.

6. Torque the Bolts:

   • Use the torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the specified torque settings from the manufacturer's service manual.

7. Final Check:

   • Ensure all bolts are tight and the covers are secure.
   • Reconnect the battery.

8. Test the Engine:

   • Start the engine and check for any oil leaks around the newly installed covers.
   • Allow the engine to idle for a few minutes and observe its performance.
