Installation Instructions for Motorcycle Oil Filter

Installation Steps:
Prepare Your Motorcycle:
Make sure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is cool.
Locate the Oil Filter:
Identify the location of the oil filter on your motorcycle.
Place the Oil Catch Pan:
Position the oil catch pan under the oil filter to collect any oil that may leak out.
Remove the Old Oil Filter:
Use the wrench or oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old filter carefully.
Clean the Area:
Wipe off any oil residue from the mounting surface to ensure a good seal for the new filter.
Apply Oil to the New Filter Gasket:
Before installation, put a thin layer of clean engine oil on the rubber gasket of the new filter.
Install the New Oil Filter:
Screw the new filter onto the mounting area by hand until snug. Follow with a wrench for additional tightness, being careful not to overtighten.
Refill Engine Oil:
Replace the oil drain plug if applicable and refill the engine with fresh oil using a funnel.
Start the Engine:
Run the engine for a few minutes and check for any leaks around the oil filter.
Dispose of Old Oil and Filter Properly:
Make sure to dispose of the old oil and oil filter according to local regulations.
