Universal Fit POD Air Cleaner Installation Instructions

Compatibility:
This air cleaner is designed for 52mm motorcycle models, including CB650, CB750C, CB750K, CB900, FJ1200, GPZ750, KZ1000, KZ750, GS750, and GS1100.

Tools You Will Need:

1. 10mm Socket Wrench
2. Flathead Screwdriver
3. Phillips Screwdriver
4. Pliers
5. Clean Cloth or Paper Towels
6. Optional: Torque Wrench (for specific torque specifications)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure your motorcycle is on a stable surface and turned off.
   • Disconnect the battery (negative terminal) for safety.

2. Remove the Old Air Cleaner:

   • Locate the existing air cleaner assembly.
   • Use the appropriate socket wrench to remove the bolts or screws holding it in place.
   • Carefully detach the air cleaner and any connected hoses or fittings.

3. Clean the Area:

   • Wipe down the intake area with a clean cloth to remove any dirt or debris.

4. Install the New POD Air Cleaner:
   -Align the new air cleaner with the intake opening.

   • Secure it in place with the provided clamps or bolts. Make sure it fits snugly.

5. Reattach Hoses/Fittings:

   • If applicable, reattach any hoses or fittings that were removed earlier.

6. Reconnect the Battery:

   • Reconnect the motorcycle battery, ensuring the connections are tight and secure.

7. Final Checks:

   • Double-check all fittings and connections to ensure they are secure.
   • Start the motorcycle and let it idle for a few minutes to ensure proper installation.

8. Enjoy Your Ride:

   • After confirming everything is working properly, take your motorcycle for a test ride and experience the enhanced performance.
