Installation Instructions for Scooter Intake Manifold

Compatibility:
This intake manifold is suitable for multiple 50cc 4T 4V models. Please ensure your scooter model is compatible prior to installation.

Tools Required:

1. Socket Set (including various sizes)
2. Screwdriver Set (Phillips and Flat-head)
3. Torque Wrench
4. Pliers
5. Gasket Scraper or Razor Blade
   6.Clean Cloth
6. Engine Oil (for lubrication during installation)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Before starting the installation, ensure the scooter is parked on a stable surface.
   • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues during the installation.

2. Remove the Old Manifold:

   • Use the socket set to remove the screws and bolts securing the old intake manifold.
   • Gently detach the manifold from the engine, taking care not to damage any surrounding components.
   • Use the gasket scraper to clean the surface on the engine where the new manifold will be installed.

3. Install the New Manifold:

   • Carefully place the new intake manifold onto the engine’s intake port.
   • Make sure the manifold aligns correctly with the bolt holes and intake port.

4. Secure the Manifold:

   • Using the screws and bolts provided, secure the manifold in place.
   • Use the torque wrench to tighten the bolts according to the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure a proper seal.

5. Reconnect Other Components:

   • Reconnect any hoses or components that were removed during the installation process. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent any air leaks.

6. Final Checks:

   • Double-check all connections and ensure everything is properly secured.
   • Reconnect the battery.

7. Testing:

   • Start the scooter and allow it to idle for a few minutes. Check for any air leaks around the manifold.
   • If everything is working smoothly, take your scooter for a short test ride to ensure optimal performance.
