Installation Instructions for Carburetor Intake Manifold

Tools Required:

• Socket wrench or ratchet and socket (10mm or 3/8")
• Torx screwdriver (T20 or T25)
• Phillips screwdriver
  *Needle-nose pliers
• Wire brush or cleaning cloth
  *Funnel
• New O-rings or gaskets (if applicable)

Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and let it cool down.
3. Remove any accessories such as the seat, mirrors, or handlebars to access the intake manifold.

Step 2: Remove the Old Intake Manifold

1. Locate the intake manifold and remove any screws or bolts that hold it in place.
2. Gently pull the intake manifold away from the engine.
3. Disconnect the fuel line and any other connectors or wires from the old manifold.

Step 3: Install the New Intake Manifold

1. Take the new intake manifold and align it with the engine.
2. Insert the new manifold into place and secure it with screws or bolts.
3. Tighten the screws or bolts in a star pattern to avoid stripping the threads.

Step 4: Reconnect the Fuel Line and Other Connectors

1. Connect the fuel line to the new intake manifold.
2. Reconnect any other connectors or wires to the new manifold.

Step 5: Check and Adjust

1. Inspect the intake manifold for any leaks or damage.
2. Check the fuel line and other connections for any signs of leakage or damage.
3. Adjust the intake manifold as needed to ensure proper fitment and alignment.

Tips and Precautions:

• Use a torque wrench to tighten screws or bolts to avoid over-tightening.
• Use a wire brush or cleaning cloth to clean any corrosion or debris from the intake manifold and surrounding areas.
