Installation Instructions for Compatible Motorcycle Oil Filter for 450cc Models (2005-2008)

Before you begin the installation, please ensure you have the following tools ready:

• Oil Filter Wrench or Strap Wrench
  -Socket Wrench Set
• Drain Pan
  -Funnel
• Screwdriver (if needed for any coverings)
  -Clean Rag
• Engine Oil (for refilling)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Make sure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is cool.
   • Place the drain pan underneath the oil filter to catch any oil that may spill during the process.

2. Remove the Old Oil Filter:

   • Using the oil filter wrench, carefully loosen and remove the old oil filter.
   • Be cautious as there may be residual oil in the filter. Allow any excess oil to drain into the pan.

3. Clean the Surface:

   • Use a clean rag to wipe the engine's oil filter mounting surface to remove any debris or old oil residue.

4. Prepare the New Oil Filter:

   • Before installing the new filter, apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the gasket of the new filter. This helps create a good seal and makes it easier to remove the filter during the next change.

5. Install the New Oil Filter:

   • Screw the new oil filter onto the mounting surface by hand.
   • Once snug, use the oil filter wrench to tighten it slightly more, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.

6. Refill Engine Oil:

   • Locate the oil fill cap on the engine and remove it.
