Product Installation Instructions for Compatible Left Crankcase Clutch Cover Gasket

Required Tools:

1. Socket Wrench Set
2. Torque Wrench
3. Screwdriver Set (Flathead and Phillips)
4. Gasket Scraper (or Soft Scraper)
5. Clean Rags or Paper Towels
6. Engine Oil (for lubrication)
7. Safety Gloves
8. Safety Goggles

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable stand.
   • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical issues during installation.

2. Remove Existing Clutch Cover:

   • Using the socket wrench, remove the bolts securing the clutch cover.
   • Carefully detach the clutch cover and set it aside.
   • Use a gasket scraper to remove the old gasket material from the crankcase and the clutch cover, ensuring the surfaces are clean for the new gasket.

3. Inspect Components:

   • Check the clutch cover and surrounding areas for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged components as necessary.

4. Install New Gasket:

   • Place the new crankcase clutch cover gasket onto the designated area on the crankcase. Ensure it is properly aligned and seated in place.

5. Reattach Clutch Cover:

   • Carefully position the clutch cover over the gasket.
   • Hand-tighten the bolts to hold the cover in place before fully tightening.

6. Torque Bolts:

   • Using a torque wrench, tighten the bolts to the manufacturer’s specified torque settings in a crisscross pattern to ensure even pressure.

7. Final Checks:

   • Reconnect the battery.
   • Check for any leaks by starting the motorcycle and allowing it to run for a few minutes.

8. Cleanup:

   • Dispose of any old gasket material and rags used during the installation.
   • Store tools and materials in their designated places.
