Product Installation Instructions for Brake Pads Compatible with SFV650 Gladius (2009-2015) and SV650 X ABS AL (2016-2021)

Tools Needed:

1. Socket Wrench Set (with appropriate size sockets)

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure that your motorcycle is parked on a stable surface and the engine is turned off.

2. Remove the Wheel:

   • If replacing front brake pads, you may need to remove the front wheel. Use the appropriate socket wrench to loosen and remove the axle nut.
   • For rear brake pads, remove the rear wheel according to your motorcycle's service manual instructions.

3. Access Brake Caliper:

   • Locate the brake caliper holding the brake pads in place.
   • Use an Allen wrench or socket wrench to remove the caliper mounting bolts.

4. Remove Old Brake Pads:

   • Carefully slide the caliper off the rotor.
   • Remove the old brake pads from the caliper, making note of their placement for proper installation of the new pads.

5. Clean the Caliper:

   • Use brake cleaner and a clean cloth to wipe down the caliper and rotor. This will help to remove any debris or old brake dust.

6. Install New Brake Pads:

   • Insert the new brake pads into the caliper, ensuring they are in the same position as the old pads were.
   • Make sure the pads are seated properly and aligned.

7. Reattach the Caliper:
