Product Installation Instructions for Motorcycle Oil Filter Compatible with Kawasaki Models

Tools Required:

1. Socket wrench
2. Oil filter wrench (optional, but recommended)
3. Drain pan
4. Shop towels or rags

5. New engine oil (as specified by your motorcycle's owner manual)
6. Replacement oil filter

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare Your Workspace:

   • Make sure you are working in a well-ventilated area and have all your tools laid out for easy access.

2. Warm Up the Engine:

   • Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This will warm up the oil and make it easier to drain.

3. Position the Drain Pan:

   • Place the drain pan under the motorcycle to catch the old oil that will drain out.

4. Remove the Old Oil Filter:

   • Using the socket wrench, carefully unscrew the old oil filter. If it’s too tight, use an oil filter wrench for better grip.
   • Allow any residual oil to drain into the pan.

5. Install the New Oil Filter:

   • Before installing the new filter, apply a small amount of clean oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the new oil filter. This helps create a better seal.
   • Screw in the new oil filter by hand until it’s snug. Avoid over-tightening.

6. Drain the Old Oil:

   • Remove the oil drain plug (using the socket wrench) and let the old oil drain completely into the drain pan. Make sure to dispose of the old oil responsibly.
