Front Brake Pad Set Installation Instructions

Tools Required:

1. Socket wrench or ratchet and socket: 17mm or 19mm socket (depending on the brake caliper bolt size)
2. Torx screwdriver: T25 or T30 (depending on the screw type)
3. Pliers or punch: For removing old brake pad retaining clips
4. Clean rag: For cleaning the brake caliper and surrounding area
5. New brake pad retaining clips: If the old ones are damaged or worn out

Step 1: Remove the Wheel

1. Loosen the nut on the wheel using a 17mm or 19mm socket.
2. Raise the motorcycle using a center stand or a jack.
3. Remove the wheel by pulling it straight off the hub.

Step 2: Remove the Old Brake Pad

1. Use a Torx screwdriver to remove the screws holding the brake caliper in place.
2. Slide the caliper off the rotor, taking care not to damage any brake hoses or wires.
3. Remove the old brake pad from the caliper.

Step 3: Install the New Brake Pad

1. Take the new brake pad and insert it into the caliper, making sure it's properly seated.
2. Reinstall the caliper and secure it with the Torx screws.
3. Make sure the brake pad is properly aligned with the rotor.

Step 4: Reinstall the Wheel

1. Put the wheel back on the hub and hand tighten the nut.
2. Lower the motorcycle to the ground.
3. Tighten the nut using a 17mm or 19mm socket in a star pattern.

Step 5: Bleed the Brakes (if necessary)
