  5. Clip Remover Tool (if applicable): For removing any retaining clips without damage.
  6. Clean Cloth or Rags: To wipe away old oil and dirt from the components.
  7. Motor Oil: For lubricating the new friction plates before installation.
  8. Safety Goggles and Gloves: To protect yourself while working on the motorcycle.

Installation Steps:

  1. Preparation:

    • Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the ignition is off.
    • Gather all necessary tools.
  2. Remove the Engine/Clutch Cover:

    • Use the socket wrench to remove the bolts securing the cover.
    • Carefully lift the cover off, taking note of any gaskets or seals that might need replacement.
  3. Take Out Old Friction Plates:

    • Remove the old friction plates from the clutch basket.
    • Inspect for wear and tear and clean any debris from the assembly.
  4. Install New Friction Plates:

    • Before installation, lightly coat the new friction plates with motor oil for better lubrication.
    • Place the new friction plates into the clutch basket, ensuring they are seated properly.
  5. Reassemble Engine/Clutch Cover:

    • Carefully reattach the engine/clutch cover.
    • Ensure all gaskets and seals are in place, then tighten the bolts using the torque wrench to the specified setting.
  6. Final Checks:

    • Inspect and ensure everything is securely fastened.
    • Start the motorcycle and check for any unusual noises or fluid leaks.
  7. Dispose of Old Parts:

    • Properly dispose of the old friction plates and any other waste materials.
